Résumé : The first part of this paper examines self-concept and learning. It demonstrates that self-concept results as much from the sociological components of social surroundings as from the immediate context in which the individual acts. Self-concept enables the individual to identify areas of interest, and then to define intentions, images and visions. This determines the learning needs and then the learning choices that will gradually shape the individual’s self-awareness and know-how and eventually prepare the individual for professional activity.
The second part of the paper deals with the questions of self-space, self-concept, learning and vision. It demonstrates that the individual moves from a received self-space to a constructed self-space, allowing the self-concept to express itself through the development and implementation of visions whose scope will depend on the extent of the constructed self-space. The learning needed to perform the activities required for the implementation of the vision is then determined. The relations system plays a key role here.
