“Better Research for Better Business”: Report of the Council of Canadian Academies

The Council of Canadian Academies has mandated a group of experts to evaluate the situation of MBF research (management-business-finance) in Canada, to compare the Canadian performance with other countries and to propose new courses of action, priorities and political orientations.

After having identified a number of strengths and weaknesses, the committee presents solutions so as to improve the position of Canadian research in management.

Sheila Brown and Jean-Marie Toulouse, who are on the Expert Panel on Management, Business, and Finance Research, will render an account of the results.

The conference will take place in the Amphitheatre IBM at HEC Montréal, at 12:45 pm.
