The keynote speaker Michael Bloom will give some answers to the essential question ‘Are Graduates Ready for Business?’ on Thursday October 1st, 2009 during his morning presentation.

In effect, “Dr. Michael Bloom will discuss what is required for innovation and entrepreneurial excellence, identify what is needed in management to achieve such excellence, and highlight some findings from the Conference Board of Canada’s Report Card on Management, Business, and Finance Education in Canada: Are Graduates Ready for Business?“.

The report is based on a survey of managers in the private and public sectors. The result presents the grades which these managers assign to management, business and finance programmes, as well as their suggestions for improvement. You can read the complete report now, in pdf format.
