Advancing Canada's Competitive Advantage – A national forum on management

We are glad to announce the participation of Mr Yvan Allaire in the National Forum on Management. Professor Emeritus in Strategy at ESG-UQAM, President of the Institute for Governance of Private and Public Organizations, Mr Allaire is, according to the Financial Post Magazine, “one of the six most influential gurus in Canadian business”. He has also been consultant for several great Canadian businesses, such as Bombardier, Bell Canada, the Caisse de dépôt et de placement du Québec and the Société générale de financement du Québec.

Mr Allaire will give a keynote presentation on Wednesday September 30th, at 8:30 am, entitled “A Crisis Unlike Any Other… And What to Do About it?”. His presentation is based on his book Black Markets… and Business Blues (FI Press, 2009) co-written with Mihaela Firsirotu. This book “contains a number of quite radical propositions which tackle the deeper causes of the repeated fiascos of the past twenty years” in the financial world. (source: www.igopp.org)
